Follow @NigeriaPI The Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr Ahmed Idris, has warned Nigerians to be wary of unscrupulous persons that have created social media accounts and are parading themselves as the AGF. This is contained in a statement by the Deputy Director, Press, Mrs Kenechukwu Offie, in Abuja on Thursday. Offie said that the OAGF had reported the nefarious activities of the scammers to the Department of State Services. According to him, the action has started yielding results, as one of the scammers was arrested by security operatives in Benin for impersonating the AGF. I will try as much as possible to make this quick and very detailed as possible some months back, a certain man approached my girlfriend who works in one of the old generation banks and asks her to help her transfer some money to her daughter in LEAD CITY university. While my GF got to work help the said customer, the man stylishly answered a phone call and kept telling the person on the other end of the phone to keep calm that his appointment letter has been printed and congratulations on his new job. Then again his phone rang and he said the same thing to the other caller who probably was a female. Right where he was making the phone call my GF’s face lit up when he mentioned to the other caller the job was a FG job (who no want better thing) he said Solid minerals. Follow @NigeriaPI The police in Lagos State have arrested a 22-year-old housekeeper, Tanko Abdulateef, who allegedly stabbed his employer, Mrs. Mabel Okafor, to death in the Ajah area of the state. our source learnt that Okafor was stabbed in the stomach in her apartment on Close 9, Victoria Garden City, Ajah, on August 17, while her valuables, including three mobile phones, a trinket and some clothes, were stolen. Our correspondent learnt that Abdulateef had fled the apartment on the day of the incident, which aroused the police’s suspicion that he was behind the murder. A police source told our source that the housekeeper was arrested from a hideout in the Bali area of Taraba State, on August 27. He said, “The suspect allegedly ripped the victim’s stomach open. He also took away valuable items from the house, including three mobile phones, a trinket and a lot of clothes. All the items were recovered from him after his arrest. “On the day of the incident, policemen went to the house and discovered that the place had been ransacked and a lot of property had disappeared. The housekeeper was also nowhere to be found. “The deceased was moved to the mortuary and the policemen from the Ajah division investigated the matter.
