Follow @NigeriaPI No matter how old you are, where you’re from or what you do for a living, we all share something in common—a desire to be successful. Each person’s definition of success is different, however, as some may define success as being a loving and faithful spouse or a caring and responsible parent, while most people would equate success with wealth, fame, and power. We all want to achieve success so we could live a comfortable life—have financial freedom, drive a nice car, and live in a beautiful house. However, although success can be achieved, it does not come easy. There are one million and one steps to being successful but i will just give out five for today. No matter how hard the Nigerian economy is, corruption, embezzlement, bribery, theft is not the way out, find something tangible to do. BE RESOLUTE ABOUT BEING SUCCESSFUL You have to be determined about being successful, give it long hours, all the best in you, hard work, zeal to continue no matter the failure, you shouldn’t give up THINK BIG You can’t think randomly and expect to make a big difference, think higher than expected, carve a niche for yourself. think bigger than your capacity. INVEST IN YOUR PASSION Find what you love and do it, you have to do your job and not be paid for it, your passion. DON’T FEAR FAILURE Failure is part of your success story, it gives you the opportunity to do it again, this time re strategize and do it more brilliantly EVERY IDEA IS GREAT Many people discard so many ideas but you...

Follow @NigeriaPI Mr. Samuel Oki, a nephew of former President Goodluck Jonathan, was today found dead in a creek in Otuoke community, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. The 35-year-old was reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday alongside the 72-year-old foster father of Jonathan, Chief Inengite Nitabai. It was learnt that some fishermen from the former President’s community in Otuoke, discovered Oki’s decomposing body floating on Otuoke river while fishing, two days after the abduction. Some indigenes of the community said though many were not aware of Oki’s whereabouts during the abduction of Nitabai, the discovery of his body in the creek has, however, heightened their fears of Nitabai’s safety. Some community members claimed that the sound of gunshot heard during the abduction of the septuagenarian might have been targeted at the deceased. A community source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said “We are worried about the safety of our uncle, Chief Inengite Nitabai. The men that abducted them have killed Oki and we pray they don’t touch our uncle.” This is the second time Nitabai has been kidnapped. He was first kidnapped On February 28, 2014 and later freed by security forces on March 10, 2014. Source: Punch...

Follow @NigeriaPI A 40-year-old man, Lukman Jimoh, aka Oyeolorun, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his bosom friend, Remi Oloyede, akaOra. Jimoh reportedly cut off Oloyede’s ears and stabbed him in the neck and eyes during a fight on Monday on Adedoja Street, Mushin. Residents were said to have stayed away from the duo because they both wielded bottles. Oloyede died on the spot after losing much blood, while his corpse was deposited in a morgue in the state. Jimoh, who after the incident was taken to a clinic for medical attention due to the injuries he also sustained, was later arrested by policemen from the Alakara division. According to our source, the men fought over the claim by the deceased that his friend betrayed him by sleeping with his wife. A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the two men had been friends for a long time. She said: “Oyeolorun (Jimoh) and Ora (Oloyede) have been friends for a long time now. They were both living on this street before Oyeolorun relocated to Sango, Ogun State, where he is staying with his family. “But about three years ago, Oyeolorun allegedly had sexual relation with Ora’s wife and he was very angry about it. From that time, he started looking for a way to get back at him for betraying him. “To get even, he slept with Oyeolorun’s first wife, but Oyeolorun had already divorced the woman. Ora was still angry and seeking opportunity for a revenge.” A community member, Adewale Baloye, said people did not intervene because the duo were...

Ever since, they spent many times together, even going on a 5 day family trip at a spa hotel this past Christmas. He said he always hoped they would reunite. So Gareth was shocked when police informed him his wife was a £220 per hour escort, as she appeared to be very religious. He said, “She was a very pious girl – she dragged me to church even and that’s not easy.” “When I met her I don’t think she’d had more than a handful of lovers in all her life. “She wasn’t cheap and liked her Gucci and Armani handbags. She loved the high life and wanted all her dreams to come true tomorrow. “To my mind, and hers, we were going to get back together at some point. “Not just me, the two of us. I wanted it, she wanted it so why not? But I only ever got half the story.
