Follow @NigeriaPI A cemetery attendant, Oluwatosin Akorede, has been arrested by Ogun State Police Command for allegedly trading in human parts. The Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who made this known to PREMIUM TIMES on Monday, said the suspect was caught with two human skulls. He said Mr. Akorede was arrested at about 7 p.m. on Sunday at Isale-Oko area of Sagamu in Sagamu Local Government Area of the state following a tip off. The spokesperson added that police officers led by the Divisional Police Officer, Moses Aduroja, were on routine patrol of the area when the suspect was arrested. “The suspect, who is said to be working in a cemetery situated along Ayepe road Shagamu is currently undergoing interrogation with the view of unravelling the motive behind his action,” Mr. Oyeyemi said. Follow @NigeriaPI A housekeeper, Bose Vitawan, on Tuesday appeared before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly absconding with her employer’s jewellery valued at N3m. The accused, 24, allegedly fled with 18 pieces of gold watches, 15 pieces of gold rings, 10 sets of gold necklace and earrings and 10 costume beads, all valued at N3 million belonging to her employer. She is being tried on two counts of conspiracy and stealing to which she pleaded innocence. The Prosecutor, Insp. A police uniform, an identity card bearing his name and a Honda car were said to have been recovered from him by operatives attached to the Anti-Robbery Squad of the Agbado division. PUNCH Metro learnt that the team apprehended 31-year-old Odikose on Monday during a stop-and-search at a checkpoint on Matogun Road, Oke-Aro, in the Ifo Local Government Area of the state, where he lives. The suspect, who hails from Aniocha North, Delta State, had reportedly hid under the Force to defraud and harass unsuspecting members of the public before luck ran out on him.
