The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has detained a former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro.
Obanikoro reported to the EFCC immediately after his arrival in Nigeria from the United States on Thursday.
An aide of the Minister told our correspondent on the telephone that the former minister who reported to the commission by 1.20 pm had not been released by 8:59pm.
Also a top operative of the commission said that the interrogation which commenced by 3pm was still ongoing and that the former minister would be detained till Tuesday to continue with the investigation.
